My name is Kirsten Taylor. I am a contemporary circus performer, movement artist, and vocalist with over 11 years of performance experience. As a passionate creator, my attention to detail is displayed on and off the stage.

MY PRIMARY PERFORMANCE DISCIPLINE IS AS AN AERIAL HOOP ARTEST WHERE I DELIVER GRACEFUL AND POWERFUL NARRATIVE ACTS THAT REACH AUDIENCE MEMBERS' EMOTIONS.
My performances have spanned across multiple aerial apparatus (silks, trapeze (solo and duo), rope, hoop, and straps), and ground skills (handbalancing, contortion, group acrobatics-flyer).
I enjoy developing solo works as much as I enjoy creating as part of an ensemble and am a dedicated performer - both to my skills and to the stories expressed through this art form.
​​My early training was in classical vocals and acting for theater, an arts foundation that I draw heavily upon in circus act creation and performances.
I trained intensely under Matthew Hinson (Musical Director/Director of Vocal Development) for 5 years in my studies of Classical (primary), Contemporary, and Ensemble (First Soprano) vocals. I studied stage acting for 5 years, including under Corey Michelle (2015 Tony Award winner for Excellence in Theatre Education).
